Linhbergh learned to cook through what he calls “counter eye height” by incessantly watching his mom cook growing up. In this episode, he cooks with his mom for the first time while learning how she makes beef phở at home. He then takes his mom camping in the redwood forests of northern California and cooks up beef phở for his mom while simplifying the dish for camping.
