From the depths of the Tarkine to the windswept cliffs of Arthur River, there is nothing quite like the West Coast of Tasmania. Our last loop west before heading back to the mainland, was a better balance of adventure & peace. There's something to be said for slowing down and soaking up the otherworldliness of the rainforest around you. From here, the remainder of 2021 stretched out in front like a fuzzy, hazy vision of surprise and uncertainty. Tropical Queensland was roughly the plan, but it wouldn't be all plain sailing from here.
